Keystroke Point of Sale Accounting Software Compatibility KeystrokePOS has the ability to send sales information to your accounting program. By using Keystroke's General Ledger Link module, you can create journal entries to export to the general ledger of programs such as Sage BusinessWorks, QuickBooks, Peachtree by Sage and others. If your accounting system has a journal entry import function that is capable of importing from a delimited text file, the Standard Link may be used. Some accounting systems' import functions also include a mapping feature which allows the user to define the format and layout for a file to be imported; such is the case with MAS90. If your software does not have a mapping feature available, KeystrokePOS offers a mapping utility that may be used to perform the same task before the file is imported called MapFile. The postings can be performed as frequently as you feel necessary. It is similar to running a report where a date/time range can be specified to post; for example, calendar month, weekly, daily, etc. The Report option can also be used to review entries before the posting and/or to manually post journal entries in any accounting program.
