If you are needing to restore a backup make sure you have your manager login and password!

• If possible take your server or laptop where BusinessWorks can be installed if necessary.  (Check the System Requirements by clicking here.)
• If possible take your printer and cables
• Consider running the program BELARC for your workstations and server because it will document each of those PCs, your programs loaded and product keys for other programs.  Click here to download the free version.
  
• Lastest BusinessWorks CD.  Check HELP > ABOUT for the version you are currently using; make sure your CD has the same version number
• Current backup MADE IN BusinessWorks of your: System, all COMANY and ARCHIVE COMPANIES (use a Flash or USB drive for the lightest storage; don't use DVD's just in case you have access only to a CD ROM in a PC
  
• BW Backup users who send backups offsite need to document their Password for BW Backup
  
• Sage phone number 1-800-447-5700
• Sage logins and passwords including BusinessWorks Manager password
  
• Blank check stock for every company
• Insurance policies
• Backups of all your Excel and Word documents that you use regularly
• Consider maintaining the on-line banking access passwords
• Consider setting up Yahoo! email addresses for individuals
